Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Effective date: 12 October 2026
1. What the App does
The App reads the product variants in your Shopify store and checks them against the three product identifiers described in the European Commission's guidance on low-value consignments (DG TAXUD, version of 2 June 2026, section 3.5): M-PID, NS-PID and S-PID. It maps them to your SKU, your barcode of type NS_PID and your GTIN/EAN/UPC/ISBN barcode, validates check digits, lets you fill gaps, and exports a CSV.
2. What the App does not do
The App does not assign HS codes, calculate duties or VAT, lodge customs declarations, or communicate with any customs authority or carrier. It does not decide whether a shipment will clear customs, and we cannot guarantee clearance. Customs rules and their interpretation can change; the App reflects our reading of the published guidance at the date above.
3. Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for the correctness of every code in your store, including codes the App writes at your request. Manufacturer codes (NS-PID) and standardised codes (S-PID) must come from your manufacturer or supplier; the App cannot look them up or invent them. Review the preview before you click "Apply to Shopify", and keep your own export of product data before bulk changes.
4. Plans and billing
The Check screen is free. The Pro plan ($9 per month, 14-day free trial) adds Fix and Export. Billing is handled by Shopify under its terms. You can cancel by changing plan or uninstalling the App.
5. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue the App or its plans with notice through the App Store listing or by email. Changes to Shopify's APIs may affect features; we cannot promise uninterrupted service.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the fees you paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for customs delays, duties, penalties, lost sales or other indirect losses that result from incorrect or missing product data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
